Damian Farrell, FAIA, LEED AP moved to Ann Arbor from Durban, South Africa when he was twenty-six years old for a position with the design team at Hobbs + Black Architects. He worked at H + B for six years, during which time he was appointed Director of Marketing and was design lead on a wide range of projects.
In April of 1992, he founded Damian Farrell Design Group which he ran for ten years. After selling DFDG and an interim period of working for both a large and mid-sized architecture firm, Damian restarted Damian Farrell Design Group, PLLC in July, 2008.
Acclaimed for his creative design and focus on creating healthy spaces, Damian has a special talent for listening to clients and interpreting solutions for each unique challenge. His designs have earned national recognition, and have been featured in Architectural Digest and numerous regional publications.
Damian describes himself as a “closet modernist” and loves to spend time with his five grandchildren.
